Intelligent management of the Measurement Units (MU)

Thanks to an internal converter, all centers can insert biochemical data in any measurement unit: when necessary, figures are automatically converted in one consistent standard unit, allowing hassle-free, real-time statistical analysis.

Data input validity/plausibility checks

Each numerical input is subjected to a validity check, even in relation to the pre-selected MU. In this way, numerous "obvious errors" are prevented to the full advantage of data quality.
Limits of plausibility may vary from study to study.

Powerful back-office for the CRO

The interface reserved for CRA and Monitoring Staff is much more powerful and complex than that reserved for the Investigators.
Suitable e-tools allow for the real-time execution of batteries of tests, analysis and controls to guarantee a complete and consistent data collection.

Centralized on-line randomization

When a patient meets all the inclusion criteria, the parameters collected during screening allow for accurate, immediate randomization according to the table provided by the Statistician.

Ex-post data coherency checks

Should two data, each acceptable (falling into the plausibility range), prove inconsistent with each-other the Monitoring Staff is notified and a summary table highlights every single inconsistency.

Automatic query generation and query tracking

A small button, located at the side of each field, enables the Monitoring Staff to generate a detailed query with a simple click of the mouse.
The generated query remains visible inside the form to which it belongs, and also appears in the partial (all queries for a given patient) and general (all queries for the entire Centre).
Each query can be individually accessed and closure of the same determines the state of validity of the form in which it is contained.

Real-time descriptive statistic

On-line descriptive statistic panels enable the user to 'navigate' the e-CRF by objectives rathar than by patient.
This is why accessing a particular patient's record among thousands is extremely fast and simple.

Full PDA and Smart Phone integration and compatibility

AirTel e-CRF can automatically send mail or SMS which act as reminders both to investigator and enrolled patients.
All AirTel e-CRFs can be easly accessed via any html enabled device.
